ROCK ON FILM: The noted Edinburgh Film Festival will be rock solid this year, topped by the Aug. 16 world premiere of the R.E.M. concert documentary “Road Movie.” The band’s Michael Stipe is slated to introduce the film, which was shot by director Peter Care in November at the Omni Arena in Atlanta.
Additionally, on Aug. 12, Pulp singer Jarvis Cocker and bassist Steve Mackey--both former film students--will screen and discuss the band’s videos with director Pedro Rohmanyi.
