*** Various artists, “Stealing Beauty: Music From the Motion Picture,” Capitol Records. Sultry, seductive and understated, this hammock-music is also a safe but appealing sampling of female chanteuses. Albums are rated on a scale of one star (poor), two stars (fair), three stars (good) and four stars (excellent).
