In addition to 12 JetHawk hits, San Bernardino pitchers walked 14 batters.

The game was so lopsided that San Bernardino Manager Del Crandall opted to use infielder Ervan Wingate, who had not been converted to pitcher, on the mound in the ninth inning.

Right-handed pitcher Greg Wooten (3-1) gave up one run on four hits and one walk in seven innings to pick up the victory.

Todd Niemeier and John Thompson each pitched scoreless innings in relief.

The JetHawks return home tonight for a 7:15 game against the High Desert Mavericks. Brett Hinchliffe, who has not pitched since July 7, will start for the JetHawks.
