Police are asking the public for help in locating a Garden Grove man with the mental capacity of a 6-year-old who has been missing since Wednesday.

Prince Le, 18, left his home near Brookhurst Street and Westminster Avenue about 7:40 a.m., telling his mother his school bus had arrived, police said. Le never showed up at Jordan Secondary Education School, 9915 Woodbury St.

Detectives said Le had wanted to return to the Orange County Fair, which he had visited earlier in the week on a class field trip.

“His family searched for him at the fair but they didn’t find him,” Det. Pat Bailey said. “He did this last year after a field trip to Disneyland and was found the next day at Disneyland. . . . This time we can’t find him.”

Le was described as Vietnamese, about 5 feet, 5 inches tall, 130 pounds, with short, black hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a royal blue jacket, white T-shirt, dark-colored jeans and white high-top tennis shoes, police said. Police are asking anyone with information to call (714) 741-5704.
