Missing Garden Grove Man Found in Colorado
An 18-year-old Garden Grove man with the mental age of a 6-year-old, who was the subject an intense manhunt after being reported missing Wednesday, was found walking along a street 15 miles from Denver, police said Sunday.
Police said Prince Le, who is usually accompanied by an adult at all times, wandered off and ended up at the bus station in Orange County, where some strangers gave him bus fare to Denver, Officer Jeff Crane said.
“He took the bus to Colorado and police in the town of Mountainview found him walking around with a quarter in his pocket,” Crane said. “He told them he was looking for the subway.”
Crane said police took Le to the airport where he flew back to Orange County at 10 a.m. Sunday and was reunited with his mother.
“She was real happy,” Crane said.
