Search Continues for Mission Viejo Man
The search continued Wednesday for a missing Mission Viejo man whose abandoned car was discovered in a parking lot at Ronald W. Caspers Wilderness Park, authorities said.
Phillip Casas, 47, was reported missing Friday by his family, according to Lt. Tom Garner, spokesman for the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. His car was noticed Tuesday by a ranger at the rural park and a search began, Garner said.
Shifts of search parties, aided by bloodhounds and helicopters, scoured the rugged terrain in search of the man, he said. There was no evidence of foul play in Casas’ car, he said.
