Offering an alternative to the San Fernando Valley’s swap meets, a two-day crafts show will take place this weekend in Encino, organizers have announced.

The 35th Encino Arts and Crafts Festival will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Encino Park, 16953 Ventura Blvd., said Dave Roman.

Created by Sun Valley businessman Gene Geller, the festival will include about 40 vendors offering what Roman described as high-quality fine art and miscellaneous crafts.
