ICN Pharmaceuticals Inc. Plans Plant in Bosnia-Herzegovina: The Costa Mesa-based drug company, in an effort to expand its growing business in Eastern Europe, said it signed a letter of intent with the Bosnian Serb republic’s health minister, Dragan Kalinic, to make and distribute pharmaceutical products. ICN said Kalnic has agreed to help ICN form a company there. ICN now distributes products to Bosnia from a Belgrade, Yugoslavia-based subsidiary. A site for the proposed plant has not been chosen, a spokeswoman said. Terms of deal were not disclosed.
