Yellowstone Mine

Re “Clinton Unveils Deal to Stop Yellowstone Mine,” Aug. 13:

It seems so simple. If the mine near Yellowstone is legal, let them dig. If not, shut them down. Why $65 million in free federal land to a massive mining corporation? This is corporate welfare at its worst, hailed as an environmental triumph by a president who makes “Tricky Dick” seem a paragon of honor and virtue.
