Streakin Flyer outrun the filly Speedy Empress in the 440-yard, $2 million All American Futurity at Ruidoso Downs, N.M.

The win -- the fourth in six races this summer for Streakin Flyer -- was worth $1 million to his owners, Janelle and Mike Green of Pelzer, S.C.

Three mothers are suing a gymnastics school in Virginia Beach, Va. , accusing coaches of forcing their daughters to compete while hurt, insulting them and using demeaning punishments.

The lawsuit, which was filed last month in Virginia Beach Circuit Court, accuses coaches at Gymstrada Gymnastic School of emotional abuse. Each mother seeks $200,000 in compensatory damages and $350,000 in punitive damages.
