Risk Data Sale Finalized

IRVINE — HNC Software Inc. of San Diego said it has completed its acquisition of privately held Risk Data Corp., an Irvine-based insurance information technology services firm, for about $61 million in stock. Under the purchase agreement, HNC Software said, it will issue about 1.8 million common shares and 248,525 stock options to holders of Risk Data shares and options.
