A 5-year-old girl was shot Tuesday after she was caught in the cross-fire between rival gangs, one of which allegedly included her father, authorities said.

Priscilla Williams, who was struck in the thigh, was taken to a local hospital, where she is expected to recover from her injuries, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

Her father, 23-year-old Greg Williams, was struck numerous times in the upper body and was in serious condition Tuesday evening. His friend, 20-year-old Ulysses Gonzalez, was shot once in the upper chest and was expected to recover, deputies said.
