Free Calypso-Reggae Performance Tonight
A calypso-reggae band will give a free performance at 6 p.m. today on the grounds of the Cypress Civic Center, 5275 Orange Ave. The event is part of the city’s Concerts on the Green series.
The band, Sapadilla, plays “highly kinetic, interactive music guaranteed to start people dancing,” said Nancy Bruns, a spokeswoman for the Cypress Recreation and Park District.
