AGRICULTURE: Mules and donkeys will trot into the arena at 1 p.m., and riders will attempt to ease the animals through an obstacle course and compete in riding routines.

HIGH-TECH: Learn to use the Internet, play computer games and watch hourly demonstrations on topics such as creating Web pages. The exhibit is in Building 5.

SCIENCE BUFFS: JPL makes the solar system fun in a video presentation that highlights recent discoveries from the Galileo mission to Mars. A 16-monitor video wall will screen films about exploration of the solar system at the Education Expo building.

ENTERTAINMENT: The 1960s rock band Blood, Sweat and Tears, with lead singer David Clayton-Thomas, will perform at 8 p.m. at the grandstand.

CONTESTS: Razzle dazzle painting at the Creative Homemaking building at 4 and 6 p.m. and clay carving at America’s Kids site at 4:30 p.m.

DANCE: Wild Pony, which plays country songs, will perform at 6, 7, 8 and 9 p.m. at Heritage Farms.

The fair runs today through Sept. 29 at the L.A. Fairplex, 1101 W. McKinley Ave., Pomona. 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday through Sunday. Admission is $9, $7 for senior citizens and $5 for ages 6 to 12. (909) 623-3111.
