Wide Range of Music Planned for City Fair

City parks will be alive with the sounds of strolling musicians on Oct. 12.
They will be walking through Kraemer Memorial and Bradford parks, bringing music to all the sites of the annual Placentia Heritage Festival.
The musical extravaganza--featuring everything from folk to mariachi, barbershop to bluegrass, marching bands to kazoos--will be in keeping with this year’s theme, “Placentia: A Community in Harmony.” While some musicians will stroll through the parks, others--including marching bands from Placentia, Anaheim and Yorba Linda--will participate in the annual Heritage Parade at 10 a.m. from Madison to Bradford avenues.
Other planned festival activities include a classic car show, crafts fair, antiques sale and children’s games. The festival is free and open to the public.
