Beverly Manor Hosts Hillbilly Hoedown
Promising “honky-tonk mayhem,” the Beverly Manor Rehabilitation and Nursing Center will host a Hillbilly Hoedown tonight.
The event will feature barbecued food and musical acts, including Yodelin’ Dan Janisch, the Inbreds, Melba Toast & Her Hungry Housewives and Little Miss Tammy Smith.
“We want to let the public come and hang out with us and see that we have fun,” said organizer Sherri McGee, a Kentucky native who recruited musician friends for the event.
Admission is free and meal prices are $5 for adults and $2 for seniors and children. Beverly Manor is located at 6700 Sepulveda Blvd.
