MLS Sets Playoff Dates for Conference Finals

The Los Angeles Galaxy will play the Kansas City Wiz at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Rose Bowl in Game 1 of Major League Soccer’s Western Conference finals.

Game 2 will be Sunday, Oct. 13, at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City and will be televised live by Univision at 10 a.m. PDT. Game 3, if necessary, will be at the Rose Bowl on Thursday, Oct. 17, at 7:30 p.m.

All three Eastern Conference playoff games are scheduled to be televised.

The Tampa Bay Mutiny opens against Washington D.C. United at RFK Stadium on Thursday (5 p.m. PDT on ESPN), then plays at Tampa Stadium on Saturday, Oct. 12 (1 p.m. PDT, Univision), and, if needed, at Tampa on Wednesday, Oct. 16 (4:30 p.m. PDT, ESPN2).
