The Kings finally caught a break on the injury front. Enforcer and left wing Barry Potomski, who suffered a strained lower back on Saturday against the Washington Capitals, practiced Monday, was cleared to play and may be in the lineup tonight against Philadelphia. Potomski scored his first goal of the season, at Washington, giving him four goals and six points in his 37-game NHL career.

Another of the injured Kings, defenseman Jan Vopat, had the last in a series of anti-inflammatory injections for the herniated disk in his back. Vopat has been out since playing in the season opener Oct. 4.
