The futures of Baltimore Oriole Manager Davey Johnson and General Manager Pat Gillick appear uncertain amid a feud between them and majority owner Peter Angelos, the Baltimore Sun reported.

League sources told the newspaper that Angelos is displeased with Johnson’s managing during the season, which ended Sunday as the New York Yankees defeated Baltimore in the American League championship series, 4-1.

If Angelos reprimands Johnson or puts him on some type of probation, Gillick may quit, Oriole sources, speaking on condition of anonymity, told the newspaper. Gillick and Angelos battled over trade proposals in July and August.

“Right now I don’t see a reason I wouldn’t stay,” Gillick said. “A lot of people are saying we didn’t have a good year. I thought we had a good year.”
