Palmdale 38, Highland 7--Jeremy Coleman passed for three touchdowns and ran for three more to lead Palmdale (5-1) in its league opener.
Coleman completed four of five passes for 160 yards, including touchdown plays of nine, 47 and 58 yards. His scoring runs were of nine, 23 and 12 yards.
Pat Opperman caught three passes for 102 yards and two touchdowns.
Jan Brown rushed six times for 31 yards for Palmdale before spraining his toe midway through the second quarter, forcing him from the game.
The Falcons scored two touchdowns within 20 seconds at the end of the first half to take a 32-7 lead.
Will Demps of Highland (4-3) returned the opening kickoff 92 yards for the Bulldogs’ only score.
