Shuttle by United plans to add air service from San Francisco to six cities, including Santa Barbara, on Oct. 31. The five other cities are Boise, Idaho; Eugene and Medford, Ore.; Salt Lake City; and Spokane, Wash. . . . . You no longer have to wait for nightfall to be serenaded on Venice waterways. The Italian city this month agreed to let gondoliers offer their singing services all day, not just in the evening.
