The 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. program includes a lecture by Henry Hopkins, director of the UCLA/Armand Hammer Museum of Art and Cultural Center; a panel discussion, including Kienholz’s wife and collaborator, Nancy Reddin Kienholz; and the screening of two films: “Kienholz on Exhibit” (1966) and “The Story of an Artist” (1961). Tickets are $45.

The program takes place one day before the close of “Kienholz: A Retrospective,” on view at the Museum of Contemporary Art through Nov. 3.
