Nordhoff 17, Carpinteria 9--Nordhoff linebackers Josh Brosseau and Shane Barrett blocked punts, and Barrett also forced a fumble, leading to three Ranger scores.

Kevin Zlelsdorf led Nordhoff (6-0-1) with 75 yards in 10 carries. He scored on runs of eight and 14 yards.

Zlelsdorf’s second touchdown put the Rangers ahead, 17-0, late in the third quarter.

Carpinteria (2-5) has held to a field goal until scoring a touchdown with six seconds to play.
