‘The Last Days of Chez Nous’

Share

This 1992 film from Australian director Gilian Armstrong is the kind of intimate, thoughtful look at the nature of relationships you would expect from the director of “My Brilliant Career” and “High Tide.” A young woman comes to visit a married and successful older sister, and her presence makes it impossible for life to go on as before. Beautifully written and acted. With Lisa Harrow, Bruno Ganz and Kerry Fox (pictured) (Bravo Saturday at 8 p.m. and 1 a.m.).
