Something Strange Brewing on the Web

Share

Monsters, ghosts and vampires come out of hiding on Halloween, and this year so will one of Orange County’s stranger Web sites, https://www.paganarts.com

The site, which promises “everything you ever wanted to know about witchcraft but were afraid to ask,” is the creation of Mark Lacey, who holds weekly meetings on paganism at the Chela II Bookstore in Dana Point.

Lacey was unavailable for comment, and his Web site doesn’t officially open until Halloween. But certain portions of the site are viewable, including a page that attempts to explain paganism, but borders on the incomprehensible.

“Paganism is devoted to the worship of that which is god in man/woman and nature,” the page states. “Paganism teaches the highest source is both female and male in aspect, and the source is vastly beyond capacity to understand.”
