Drawing on her experience in education, Eastin “can tell us all what’s happening with the industry leaders of tomorrow,” said Joe Lucente, VICA’s education chairman. “We thought it was appropriate for her to come and speak, having been in office for two years.”

VICA is a nonprofit, nonpartisan business advocacy group with about 400 members drawn from a wide range of industries. It aims to articulate businesses’ agenda to elected officials and the public in an effort to preserve the Valley’s economic base.

The meeting is open to the public. It costs $25 per person, which includes lunch and parking outside the hotel at 4222 Vineland Ave.
