Myers Scores 16 in Exhibition Victory

Bob Myers’ 16 points (on eight-for-eight shooting) led the Bruins to a bumpy, bruising, less-than-artistic 71-44 victory over the German National Team before 5,485 Thursday night at Pauley Pavilion. After last Tuesday’s three-technical performance in an easy victory over Athletes In Action, the Bruins did not incur a technical foul Thursday. UCLA opens its season Wednesday against Tulsa in the first round of the Chase-NIT.
