Young, Dalis Face Readers’ Firing Line

Share

From the man who has overseen the demise of a once nationally respected football program into the current inconsistent unit led by his hand-picked successor Bob Toledo, we now witness the attempted destruction of tradition-rich UCLA basketball.

Don’t be fooled here for a moment. This is not about punishing a coach for covering up for [having] two players present at a recruiting dinner. For that, Harrick should have been properly admonished, not fired. Rather, I suspect a more personal motive by Dalis, who didn’t appreciate Harrick airing his contract frustrations to the media over the last few years.

Fortunately for Bruin fans, Chancellor Young will be leaving in June. Hopefully, for the survival of UCLA sports, he will take Dalis with him.
