The Burbank Planning Commission voted 5 to 0 to approve plans for a 585,000-square-foot office complex in the city’s media district, where rapidly growing entertainment companies have gobbled up most of the available commercial space. Los Angeles-based J.H. Snyder Co. plans to start construction on the approximately $131-million complex this spring and complete the low-rise project within two years, Snyder partner Cliff Goldstein said. The project must still win final approval of the City Council, which is scheduled to vote on it next month.
