Volunteers to Install Free Smoke Alarms
Volunteers from the Santa Ana Fire Department, American Red Cross and Times Orange County will install free smoke alarms in 100 Santa Ana homes Saturday.
During the “Cause for Alarm” project, volunteers will install the alarms for residents and distribute packets containing fire safety tips in Spanish and English. Residents who already have smoke alarms can receive free replacement batteries.
