A Lotto Money: A visit to a Studio City liquor store has made somebody $13 million richer. The winning ticket in Wednesday’s Super Lotto jackpot drawing was purchased at Ringside Liquor on Moorpark Boulevard. . . . Christmas Critters: Looking for an unusual gift for the animal lover in your life? May we suggest a bald eagle, arctic fox, hedgehog or perhaps our state reptile, the desert tortoise. Sunland’s Wildlife on Wheels is offering its collection of exotic animals for adoption this holiday season, with one caveat. . . . You don’t get to take them home. What adopters do receive is a photo, an animal biography and a newsletter subscription.

All Smiles: The owner of Palmdale’s most famous smile will serve as grand marshal of the city’s Christmas parade this year. It took a year of treatment and two major surgeries to give 8-year-old Chelsey Thomas the ability to smile. . . . She’ll be flashing her new grin during the Dec. 14 parade along Palmdale Boulevard.
