Man, 48, Arrested in Girlfriend’s Stabbing
A 48-year-old Santa Paula man was booked into Ventura County Jail on Monday after allegedly stabbing his live-in girlfriend several times.
Alejandro Miguel was arrested after his 38-year-old girlfriend, whose name was not released, sought medical treatment at Santa Paula Memorial Hospital about 10 a.m. She was listed in stable condition Monday evening.
Hospital staffers reported the incident to police.
Miguel is being held on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and inflicting injury on a spouse, with bail set at $20,000.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
