Two Men Shot to Death on Street in Westminster
Two men were shot to death in a residential neighborhood in an apparent drive-by attack Tuesday night.
Police said the shooting occurred at 8:29 p.m. at Bowling Green Street near Hazard Avenue. Both victims were shot multiple times, Sgt. Russell Silva said.
Police found the body of one man lying near a late-model Acura with the engine running and a wounded man lying nearby. The second man died later at UCI Medical Center in Orange.
Although police said they have no witnesses to the shooting, several people heard the shots.
Bryce Pennington, 30, who was outside a house down the street, said he heard nine shots.
“I went right on the ground,” Pennington said.
The victims have not been identified, and police don’t know if the shooting was gang-related.
