No Doubt About It

Share

Led by energetic singer Gwen Stefani, No Doubt made history last week when its bestselling album, “Tragic Kingdom,” moved to No. 1 on both The Times’ Southern California chart and the national chart. The ska-pop band is the first Orange County-based act to reach that milestone. Meanwhile, Whitney Houston’s gospel-tinged “The Preacher’s Wife” soundtrack and the eclectic “Romeo & Juliet” soundtrack both picked up in sales, while Toni Braxton’s “Unbreak My Heart” uprooted Blackstreet’s “No Diggity” from atop the national singles sales chart.
