Louisville did everything wrong against Wright State and still won, 65-57, Monday night at Louisville.

The 18th-ranked Cardinals (7-0) had problems with Wright State’s zone defenses and shot a season-low 39% from the field (24 for 61), including 23% from three-point range (five for 22).

Wright State Coach Jim Brown, sounding as if his team had won, said: “From our standpoint, we did everything we wanted to. We felt the only way to play them was to play a zone. Tonight we didn’t get frustrated. We had a lot to do with the way Louisville played.”
