King update--The physical line of Ian Laperriere, Matt Johnson and Dan Bylsma has played well and may be used more against the Rangers. Goalie Byron Dafoe, expected to start tonight, is 7-5-1 this season. The Kings will be without injured forwards Craig Johnson (abdominal), Yanic Perrault (abdominal) and defensemen Jan Vopat (back) and Doug Zmolek (shoulder). Forward Eddie Olczyk (flu) missed the last three games but arrived in New York on Tuesday.

Ranger update--They are the hottest team in the NHL with an 8-1-1 record over their last 10 games. Former King Wayne Gretzky is their top scorer with 45 points, including 14 goals.
