Salvation Army Needs Help Distributing Gifts
Volunteers are needed today to help the Salvation Army Orange County process food and toys to give to more than 5,000 needy families. The Salvation Army’s Anaheim facility at 1133 N. Homer St. is gearing up to for distribution through Dec. 24.
“We have had a wonderful response from the community,” said Ruth DiGregorio, the Salvation Army’s volunteer coordinator. “However, we are really short on help for this Thursday and Friday. We need a total of 40 volunteers for each of those two days.”
