Vaught Nails the Boards
Forward Loy Vaught said he has raised his standards.
“It used to be 10 points and 15 rebounds, but now I try to go for 15 boards,” said Vaught, who had averaged 19 rebounds the three games before Friday’s 102-86 loss at Seattle. “I’ve been doing something differently, but it’s a secret.”

Guard Brent Barry sat out Friday’s game because of a sore back. . . . Guard Pooh Richardson, who sat out his fifth consecutive game because of a sprained right ankle, plans to practice today for the first time in a week.
