School District Seeks Ideas for Centennial
The Anaheim Union High School District is seeking ideas for its upcoming 100th birthday celebration.
The district will be putting together a yearlong centennial celebration for the 1997-98 school year commemorating Anaheim High School’s opening in 1898.
Volunteers and sponsors are needed for events, which could include a golf tournament, parade and reunion. All of the district’s 23 schools will be included in the celebration.
Information: Doug Munsey, Anaheim High School principal, (714) 999-3772; or centennial coordinator Alden Esping at (714) 956-8685.
