Share

Opponent--Washington Bullets.

Site--Forum.

Time--6:30.

TV--Fox Sports West.

Radio--KLAC (570), KWKW (1330).

Records--Lakers 33-12, Bullets 22-22.

Record vs. Bullets (1995-96)--1-1.

Laker update--They responded to the rare two-game losing streak at home by winning five in a row, the last three on the road. That gave the Lakers 11 victories in three consecutive months for the first time since 1987-88 and also gave them the best record in the Western Conference.

Bullet update--Chris Webber was one of six players in the league who went into Tuesday, the day all-star reserves were announced, averaging at least 20 points and 10 rebounds, but the only one not selected to play next Sunday in Cleveland. His disappointment came about the same time as a physical setback for Tim Legler, the three-point champion who was scheduled to return last week after suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament last April. But a sore hamstring forced Legler to temporarily postpone the comeback. Juwan Howard averages 18.8 points and 8.2 rebounds.
