Imagyn Gets FDA OK
SAN CLEMENTE —
Imagyn Medical Inc. said Monday it has received clearance from the Food and Drug Administration to market a system for diagnosing blockage in Fallopian tubes. Currently, doctors most often rely on X-ray techniques, which can be inaccurate, to diagnose problems, the company said.
The FDA also approved a separate system developed by San Carlos-based Conceptus Inc.
