Baumgartner Out Up to Three Weeks

Enforcer Ken Baumgartner was put on the injured reserve list after he suffered a broken bone in his right hand during Sunday’s 6-1 loss to Calgary. Baumgartner is expected to be sidelined up to three weeks.

The Ducks recalled rookies Ruslan Salei and Jeremy Stevenson from their minor league affiliate at Baltimore. Each played with the Ducks earlier this season before being sent to the minors.

The object of the game is to score, but it’s difficult to win when only a couple of players do so consistently. “Some guys have to do better--if they can do better,” Coach Ron Wilson said. “I don’t know, it’s been so dang long since some guys have scored.”
