Veterans Blake and Nurminen Are Back

Share

After playing the last two games with a depleted lineup, the Kings will get back a couple of key regulars for tonight’s game against Toronto at the Forum.

Defenseman Rob Blake will return from a two-game league suspension for the two-handed cross-check he delivered against San Jose on Feb. 5. Forward Kai Nurminen will also be back after missing two games because of a thigh injury.

Left wing Kevin Stevens, who missed the Kings’ 3-1 loss at Colorado because of the birth of his first son on Tuesday, will play along with right wing Vitali Yachmenev, who did not play against the Avalanche because of flu.
