2 Officers Chasing Suspects Are Hurt in Crash
Two Los Angeles police officers, pursuing two burglary suspects, suffered minor injuries Monday when their car went out of control and crashed into a concrete wall.
The accident happened near the intersection of Van Nuys Boulevard and Albers Street, Sgt. Memo Rosales said.
Rosales said the wet pavement apparently caused the car to go out of control.
He said neither officer appeared to be seriously hurt, but they were taken to a hospital for evaluation.
They were pursuing two youths who had allegedly broken into a parked car and were fleeing on bicycles. The suspects escaped, police said.
