All that remains for Loyola Marymount is to jockey for a better seeding at the WCC tournament the school will host March 1-3. The Lions, losers of five in a row, could be seeded as high as sixth but also could be the only bottom-seeded team other than Portland in 1992 to host the tournament. Center Kenny Hotopp has 88 rebounds in WCC games, second behind Pepperdine’s Bryan Hill, who has 103. San Diego has won three in a row and four of five. Senior guard Sean Flannery last weekend became the school’s career leader in three-point baskets with 179, ninth on the WCC all-time list.
