Late Move Gives P.T. Indy a Win at Santa Anita
P.T. Indy came from mid-pack inside the eighth pole for a 2 1/2-length victory over Latin Dancer in Friday’s $71,475 Pirate Cove at Santa Anita.
Ridden by Corey Nakatani, P.T. Indy covered one mile on the turf in 1:34 and paid $16.80, $10.40 and $6.
Latin Dancer returned $8 and $4.20, and King of Swing was another neck back and paid $3.60 to show.
Greed is Good took the early lead and held on through the seven-eighths mark. Latin Dancer and King of Swing briefly took the lead inside the eighth-pole, but P.T. Indy came quickly from outside.
