King update--Goaltender Byron Dafoe made 27 saves and Dimitri Khristich scored the winning goal in the third period of the Kings’ 2-1 victory over St. Louis in the last meeting between the teams in January at the Forum. On Monday, Dafoe made 40 saves and the Kings rallied from a three-goal deficit to tie Detroit, 3-3, at the Forum. Eddie Olczyk has a league-high nine-game point streak.

Blues update--Pierre Turgeon scored two third-period goals and had a four-point night to lead the Blues to a 4-3 victory at San Jose on Tuesday. St. Louis had not won in its previous seven games and is 2-6-2 in its last 10. With 38 goals and 71 points, Brett Hull is the team’s top scorer. Turgeon has 68. Jim Campbell is second among rookies in league scoring. The Blues are one of only nine teams in the league with a winning record on the road, at 16-13.
