L.A. ‘Mandela’ Premiere to Benefit Artists Group
Ticket prices start at $100 each for the March 19 Los Angeles premiere of “Mandela,” the authorized documentary film on the South African president.
The event takes place at the Writers Guild Theater and benefits the nonprofit organization Artists for a New South Africa.
The film, produced by Jonathan Demme and Edward Saxon, opens theatrically March 21 at the Magic Johnson Theater and at the Laemmle Music Hall.
