A second-teamer last season, Bradley was Brea’s most intense and best defensive player the past three seasons. A 78.5% free-throw shooter, she averaged 14.2 points, 3.9 assists and shot 52% from the field--highest among the starters on a team that shot 48%.

The standout on a team with one senior, and certainly its go-to player, Combs helped Esperanza rise to No. 6 in the local rankings as one of the county’s most fundamentally sound players. She shot 50.7% from the field, and averaged 16.5 points and 8.3 rebounds.

A second-teamer as a sophomore but injured as a junior, UC Irvine-bound Duperron was the leader of the county’s third-ranked team and one of the county’s strongest players. She averaged 15 points and 7.4 rebounds. She made 163 free throws (69.3%), second-best in OC.

Laguna Hills

The county’s dominant defensive presence, Haneef averaged 3.7 blocks and altered countless others. No team scored more than 50 against the Hawks. She averaged 13.9 points and 10.4 rebounds, but will compete in volleyball and track at Long Beach State.

Along with Haneef, Inoue was indispensable for Laguna Hills, which won its first state championship. Inoue provided critical floor leadership that usually scared most opponents from even trying to press the Hawks. Headed to California, she averaged 13.7 points and 5.5 assists.

One of the purest shooters around, Jennings demolished county and Southern Section three-point shooting marks by making 129; her 53.5% shooting percentage from beyond the arc led the county. She averaged 19.8 points and will attend Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

One of the most skilled ballhandlers in the county, Nakase averaged 13.8 points and 6.6 assists. She loosened defenses by shooting 34.9% from the three-point arc, and her acrobatic drives through the lane gave her a chance to shoot 78.4% from the free-throw line.

Pepperdine-bound Saari gave Brea the point guard it needed to deal with its tough national schedule. A deft ballhandler and two-time first-teamer, she averaged 11.7 points and a county-high 7.8 assists; she shot 52% from the field and 42.7% from the three-point arc.

A second-teamer as a sophomore and first-teamer since, the San Diego-bound Tuiolosega averaged 20.2 points and 4.8 assists and led Ocean View to its highest-ever ranking--No. 5. Her 1,722 points (15.4 average) is among OC’s highest career total. She shot 50.6%.
