Wild Things is a collection of infused oils and vinegars in unique wax-sealed decorative bottles. The 22 vinegars include flavorings such as cranberry-orange, red chile-baby corn, apple-apricot, kumquat-rosemary and baby lemon. Wild Things also bottles Jelly Belly jellybeans in the same sort of bottles (bottle shapes include blowfish, violin, rolling pin, Eiffel Tower and many others).

Some of them seem mostly for show--don’t bother trying to get the rubber cork out of the impressive triangular bottle of carrots, for instance. The vinegars seem to be pretty good, and the best part is that when you’re finished, you have these great bottles.

Green Knife

If you hate tearing lettuce but you don’t like the way it browns if you cut it with a knife, the Lettuce Knife, made of plastic in an indescribable shade of turquoise green, is here to help. It’s dishwasher safe and pretty safe to have around children, since the blade is just barely sharp and the serrations are rounded. The manufacturer also says it can be used as a fish scaler and a cake decorator, though probably not without washing in between.

Sunny Sides Out

Le Creuset is known for its enameled cast-iron cookware, which is great for retaining heat and ensuring even cooking even at low temperatures. But although the manufacturer says the enameled interior surface is nonstick (and it does clean easily), cooks know that eggs do sometimes stick in a Le Creuset skillet. Now the company has come out with a new omelet pan with a better nonstick surface that is gentler to eggs. And, of course, the pans come in the usual Le Creuset sunny colors.
